Why teams choose Orbit

Sprocket Orbit captures your team's Copilot and Claude conversations into a living, searchable team wiki, so AI work stops disappearing into chat windows.

AI assistants work alongside your team

Connect Copilot, Claude, or Codex through MCP. Assistants search, read, and update notes with the same permissions and version history as any team member.

Connected documentation

Link related notes as you write. Backlinks, full-text search, and a workspace graph keep information easy to locate.

Writing that feels effortless

A plain editor that formats as you type: headings, checklists, tables, diagrams, and maths, with no toolbar in the way.

No lock-in

Every note is a standard markdown file in OneDrive or SharePoint. Your content remains fully accessible, with or without Orbit.

Security

Your documents never leave your organisation

Orbit authenticates with your Microsoft accounts and writes every note directly to the SharePoint sites and OneDrive folders you designate. Existing permissions, policies, and compliance tooling continue to apply.

Set up in an afternoon

1

Request access or log in

Orbit uses your Microsoft identity to check whether your organisation is approved. If not, we will start a soft-launch request.

2

Choose where documents are stored

Select a SharePoint site or OneDrive folder. Every note is saved there as a plain markdown file.

3

Invite your team

Share the workspace and begin writing together, in the browser or in Microsoft Teams.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Where is our content stored?

Every note is a plain markdown file written directly to the SharePoint sites and OneDrive folders your organisation designates. Nothing is copied to a separate platform, and your existing permissions, policies and compliance tooling continue to apply.

What happens if we stop using Orbit?

Your content stays exactly where it always was: standard markdown files in your own OneDrive and SharePoint. There is no export step and no lock-in. You can keep reading and editing the files with any tool you like.

Who can read our notes?

Access follows the Microsoft 365 permissions on the underlying SharePoint site or OneDrive folder. If someone cannot open the file in SharePoint, they cannot open it in Orbit. Your IT team stays in control.

How do AI assistants connect?

Through MCP. Copilot, Claude, or Codex connect to your workspace and search, read, and update notes with the same permissions and version history as any team member. Every change an assistant makes is tracked, just like a human edit.

Does Orbit work inside Microsoft Teams?

Yes. Orbit runs in the browser and as a Teams app, so your team can read and write notes without leaving the conversation they are already in.

What does soft launch mean?

We are onboarding organisations one at a time so every team gets a guided setup: storage, permissions, and the Teams app configured properly. Request access and we will be in touch to get you started.

Sprocket Orbit is $5 per user per month with rolling 30-day active-user licensing. See full pricing

Bring Orbit to your team

During soft launch, we set up each organisation directly: storage, permissions, and the Teams app. Request access and we'll be in touch.
