Questions

Pricing questions, answered

How does the rolling 30-day licensing work?

A licence is consumed when a unique user loads any Sprocket web part. If that user does not access Sprocket for 30 days or more, their licence automatically frees up and returns to your pool. There are no manual resets, so you simply purchase enough licences to cover your typical monthly active user count rather than your whole headcount.

What counts as an active user?

An active user is a unique Microsoft 365 user who has accessed Sprocket within the last 30 days. Each user is identified once, so opening Sprocket on multiple devices or pages still only consumes a single licence.

Do guest accounts need a licence?

No. Guest accounts are never counted as licensed users and never consume a licence, no matter how often they access your sites.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically and you can cancel at any time. You can also choose between monthly and annual billing, with a 10% discount on annual payments.

What happens to my content if I cancel?

Your content is yours and it all lives in your own SharePoint. If you cancel, the Sprocket web parts display a subscription message, but every page, document and piece of content you created remains intact in your tenant.

Is our data stored outside our Microsoft tenant?

No. All of your business information stays within your Microsoft 365 tenant. The only thing that leaves is a subscription validation check against our licensing API, which carries no business data.
